Fox News anchor Shepard Smith tonight will discuss his experiences covering disasters in a world before and after Sept. 11 at the 9/11 Memorial Preview Site, 20 Vesey St.

Smith anchors “The Fox Report” on Fox News Channel, cable television’s most watched evening newscast. He also hosts the daytime news program “Studio B” on Fox. The Mississippi native is well known for his coverage of Hurricane Katrina, as well as his coverage of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and the Oklahoma City bombing. Click here for his full bio.

Smith's appearance comes at a time the speakers series is entering its second year of programming and 186 days remain until the 9/11 Memorial opens to families on the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11.
