Today Marks Birthday of Brian David Sweeney
Today marks what would have been Brian David Sweeney’s 53rd birthday. A white rose was placed in his name on the 9/11 Memorial.
Sweeney, from Massachusetts, was a passenger on Flight 175 when it was hijacked and flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11.

A member of the 9/11 Memorial Museum staff was recently awarded the Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disabilities (LEAD) Award for Emerging Leaders, recognizing the leadership and work that promotes accessibility and inclusion in cultural institutions.
