9/11 Community Evening Sept. 10, 2019

9/11 Community Evening Sept. 10, 2019

As in years past, it is our distinct honor to invite members of the 9/11 community to join us for a special gathering on the evening before the anniversary. On Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, from 4 p.m. to close at 8 p.m., the 9/11 Memorial Museum will be reserved for 9/11 and 2/26/93 family members, family members of individuals who are sick or who have died from 9/11-related illnesses, 9/11 rescue and recovery workers, active duty first responders, 9/11 survivors, active-duty military and veterans, lower Manhattan residents and business owners, and active and retired flight crew members.

This year’s Community Evening will feature an information session with the Special Master of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) about who qualifies for compensation, what types of compensation are available, and how to register and file a claim. Held in the Museum’s Education Center, these 30-minute sessions at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. will provide an informal opportunity to learn more about this important resource for the 9/11 community. Space is limited, so please RSVP to rsvp@911memorial.org with your name, number of guests and the time of the session you plan to attend.

You are also invited to visit the 9/11 Memorial Glade, a tranquil space on the 9/11 Memorial plaza dedicated on May 30, 2019, in honor of all who are suffering or have died from 9/11-related illnesses. Docents will be on hand to share their stories and answer questions from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

If you are a member of the 9/11 community, you can reserve your free ticket(s) to the Museum via the ticketing links below.
