The 9/11 Memorial Museum recently reached out to Sept. 11 victims’ families assuring that work will continue beyond an April 30 deadline for accepting important materials for the planned memorial exhibition.

The memorial museum was gracious for the materials already submitted for the exhibition and assured families that the museum staff “will continue to work with you . . . to ensure we have fitting exhibition content for each victim.”

The exhibition is a centerpiece in the memorial museum, which opens in 2012.
