The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is Open

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is open as usual Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017. Photo by Jin Lee, 9/11 Memorial.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum staff along with the rest of the world are devastated by the tragic vehicle attack that took place near the World Trade Center on Tuesday. Our hearts go out to the victims and their family members.

Safety is a top priority for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and our partners at the NYPD and Port Authority Police Department.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is safe and will be observing regular operating hours on Wednesday, Nov. 1. As you plan your visit, please consider the various street closures in the area as authorities continue their investigation.

You should allow more time for arriving to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the World Trade Center and other points in lower Manhattan.
