9/11 Memorial Visitors Use Social Media to Describe Their Visit in Three Words

Since opening in 2011, the 9/11 Memorial has welcomed more than 11.5 million visitors from across all 50 states and more than 175 nations. Last week, the 9/11 Memorial asked its visitors to describe their visit in three words on Twitter and Facebook. “Emotional,” “peaceful,” and “humbling” were reocurring words.
