Scottish dance company Shaper/Caper will perform their acclaimed dance program “Within This Dust,” at the 9/11 Memorial Museum on Friday, April 21. The program was inspired by iconic photos taken by Associated Press photographer Richard Drew that captured a man falling from the World Trade Center on 9/11.

The performance balances movement with subtle storytelling and explores themes of impact, loss, survival and humanity. “Within This Dust” received four stars in a review from The Scotsman, which hailed the program as “So beautiful, I had tears pouring down my face.”

The program begins at 7:00 p.m. and includes three live dance works. A conversation with Shaper/Caper artistic director Thomas Small will follow the performance.

Tickets to the performance are sold out. Watch the program streamed live at 911memorial.org/live.
