As we do each year in observance of Veterans Day, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum will honor those who served in the United States Armed Forces. On Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, yellow roses will be placed on the Memorial at the names of veterans to recognize the military service of those who were killed on Sept. 11, 2001.

The placement of the yellow roses on the parapets is a tradition and part of the 9/11 Memorial’s annual Salute to Service week. From Wednesday, Nov. 7, to Sunday, Nov. 11, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum will host a series of events and special programs for veterans and their families, as well as the visiting public.

Throughout the five-day tribute, veterans will receive free museum admission. Veterans will also receive half-price museum tickets for two family members during the tribute.
