School may be out for summer, but visitors bringing kids to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum can still find ways to keep them learning and engaged.

Youth and Family tours will kick off at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum starting June 24. These tours are designed for visitors with children and explore the design of the Memorial, the events of 9/11 and how we commemorate the attacks. The age-appropriate program includes a tour of the Memorial and Museum and an accompanying interactive activity. Youth and Family tours are an hour long, and visitors can reserve a spot for 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.

Kids are also welcome to partake in the 9/11 Memorial Art Cart, which will help children discover the stories and symbolism behind the 9/11 Memorial and the rebuilt World Trade Center site. Visitors can delve into self-guided explorations and art activities, written in age-appropriate language.

Find the Art Cart on the Memorial plaza Monday through Friday from June 24 to August 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Art Cart is made possible in partnership with the New York Life Foundation.
