Executive Vice President, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer
Reporting to the president and chief executive officer, Suchoff leads the administrative functions of the institution including its finance, human resources and information technology departments. He works closely with the CEO, overseeing accounting, budgeting and budget analysis, and financial modeling including revenue projections, procurement, insurance and risk management. He also provides fiduciary oversight of donor-restricted/designated contributions. In addition, Suchoff oversees all administrative functions, including human resources and information technology. Suchoff works closely with the board, the president/CEO and the executive team on strategies to ensure the long-term financial health for the organization, and he serves as a resource and partner on financial matters to senior leadership and staff across the institution.
Suchoff is a senior financial executive with an extensive and diverse management and financial background in the nonprofit arena, stemming from chief financial officer experiences at well-known institutions such as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, The Metropolitan Opera and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Suchoff received his B.B.A. and M.B.A. from Pace University and is a certified public accountant. He was born in Newburgh, N.Y., and lives in Norwalk, Conn., with his wife, Rosemary. Their two children currently reside in New York City.
