We’re less than a week away from the 5th annual 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk and Community Day.
On April 23, more than 5,000 participants will come together as a community in downtown Manhattan to honor the men and women we lost that tragic day in September and to support the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
After the race, join us for Community Day, a family-friendly festival open to the public with food, entertainment and activities for all ages. Open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Greenwich Street (adjacent to the 9/11 Memorial), you can enjoy the West Point Band, climb the NYPD Rock Wall, or hang out with Mr. Met. You can find a full list of participants here.
By signing up to run or walk, you will be supporting the 9/11 Memorial & Museum's mission and help to sustain this lasting place for remembrance, reflection, and learning for years to come. As a thank you for participating, you’ll receive an exclusive discount to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, race day t-shirt, and access to "Bib N' Brunch" for special discounts and promotions at participating Lower Manhattan restaurants.
It’s not too late to sign up or donate. Visit https://www.911memorial.org/5k for more event details.
