The Lens: Capturing Life and Events at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum is a photography series devoted to documenting moments big and small that unfold at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
The View: Visitors to the 9/11 Memorial take in the monumental one-acre pools on the Memorial Plaza. The bronze panels edging the pools are inscribed with the names of every person who died in the 2001 and 1993 attacks and are a powerful reminder of the largest loss of life resulting from a foreign attack on American soil and the greatest single loss of rescue personnel in American history. Visitors are welcome to leave tributes to the victims of the attacks in front of the Memorial pools or on the bronze parapets themselves. Learn more about the 9/11 Memorial and plan your visit here.
