Chancellor’s Day Professional Development
This free full-day conference features a keynote address by Mary Galligan regarding her experiences spearheading the FBI’s investigation into the 9/11 attacks as well as her perspective on the evolving nature of the threat posed by terrorism. Educators can also choose from a variety of breakout sessions led by 9/11 Memorial & Museum staff. Sessions provide concrete strategies and entry points into a variety of challenging content areas, including teaching 9/11 through primary sources, tackling conspiracy theories and the rise of Islamophobia.
All participants receive free curricular materials at the completion of the program and are eligible for CTLE hours. This workshop is appropriate for third through 12th grade educators. Register here.
