The best way to experience the 9/11 Memorial & Museum is through an expert-led tour. Visitors gain a deeper understanding about what happened on 9/11 and those affected through compelling artifacts and stories.
All tours are 60 minutes, offered in English and are intended for adult and teenage visitors, unless noted.

Early Access Museum Tour
Experience the Museum before it opens to the public in this intimate morning tour. During this tour, the story of 9/11 is told through monumental artifacts and the stories of those affected by the attacks. Offered daily before the crowds arrive from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
These tours examine 9/11 and its aftermath while giving an overview of key spaces on the Memorial plaza and in the Museum.
"Understanding 9/11" Museum Tour
Gain a deeper understanding of 9/11, the lead-up to the attacks and their continuing global significance in the essential tour of the Museum’s key spaces.
Official Memorial Tour
Learn about 9/11 and its victims, the World Trade Center and the symbolism behind the Memorial’s design in this 45-minute tour. This rain-or-shine tour is not offered in January and February.
Youth and Family Tour
Visiting with kids? Join this age-appropriate program that explores the design of the Memorial, the events of 9/11 and how we commemorate the attacks. The program includes a tour of the Memorial and Museum and an accompanying interactive activity. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Offered April 22 to April 26, and in summer months. All tour participants must have a ticket.
