Anthoula Katsimatides is the former Assistant Vice President for Family Relations at the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC). Anthoula was the liaison to the family members of those who were murdered in the September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993 terrorist attacks. Prior to the LMDC, Anthoula was appointed Assistant for Community Affairs for New York State Governor George E. Pataki since 2000 as a liaison to various ethnic communities in New York City. She also served as Governor Pataki's liaison to the September 11th families. Anthoula's brother, John Katsimatides, was killed at the World Trade Center.

In August 2004, Anthoula, worked for the United States Olympic Committee at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. She served as a Greek liaison to the US team, staff and VIPs during their stay.

Anthoula holds a Masters of Science in Education from Queens College as well as a Bachelors of Business Administration (Marketing/Corporate Communications) from Bernard M. Baruch College.
She is the President of The Johnny and Mikey Katsimatides Foundation for Life, Inc., a non-profit family foundation, created in memory of her two loving brothers, to perpetuate their legacy while raising funds for charities.
