Official Transportation Partners

The 9/11 Memorial has set up a Transportation Partners program to help group visitors take advantage of other attractive ways to arrive at the Memorial and to help minimize the impact of charter tour buses on the lower Manhattan community. The Official Transportation Partners offer non-tour bus modes of travel, such as ferries and hop-on hop-off buses and have access to group passes to the 9/11 Memorial.

Group visitors are encouraged to use our Transportation Partners to travel to the Memorial and to build itineraries that encourage them to experience other historic sites and attractions in lower Manhattan.

New York Water Taxi
Ferries from Midtown Manhattan - Groups can package a New York Water Taxi Hop-on/Hop-off ticket with a timed 9/11 Memorial Visitor Pass. The Water Taxi picks up at Pier 84 on West 44th Street next to the Intrepid, and drops off at Battery Park, just a short walk from the Memorial entrance. Statue Cruises/Liberty Landing Ferry
Ferries from New Jersey - Groups can start their visit to the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island from Liberty State Park in New Jersey and continue onto the 9/11 Memorial before returning to NJ via ferry from Battery Park, NY. Groups can also board the Liberty Landing Ferry at Liberty State Park Marina and sail directly to the 9/11 Memorial, disembarking at the World Financial Center Ferry Terminal.
