Anne M. Tatlock is currently a Director of Bloomberg Philanthropies, Director and Chair of the Investment Committee for Carnegie Corporation of New York, Advisor for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investment Committee, and a Trustee of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.

Past boards include: Mayo Clinic, American Ballet Theatre, HHMI, Merck, Beam, American General Life Insurance, and PHH. Tatlock also served as chairman of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, vice chairman of the Conference Board, chairman of the Cultural Institutions Retirement System, and trustee of the Teagle Foundation and Vassar College. Tatlock graduated from Vassar College in 1961 and earned a masters in economics at New York University in 1968. She was elected a member of the American Academy of Arts & Science in 2004, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and has been awarded the Eleanor Roosevelt Medal.
