A group of students in school uniforms looks up at a large inscription on the wall that reads “No day shall erase you from the memory of time.” The quote from Virgil’s epic poem The Aeneid is surrounded by 2,983 unique blue tiles that comprise "Trying to Remember the Color of the Sky on That September Morning" by Spencer Finch.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s programs are made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
