New Monthly Series to Explore Islamist Radicalism

The 9/11 Memorial Museum presents a new monthly series of live talks examining the growth of ISIS and the spread of Islamist radicalism.

Bernard Haykel, a Princeton University professor and renowned expert on extremist Islamist ideology, will join Clifford Chanin, the Museum’s vice president for education and public programs, in these discussions.

The first talk of the series, held on March 25, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., will cover the fighting and destruction of antiquities in Syria and Iraq, and security measures following the terror attacks in Paris and Copenhagen.
