The Lens: Capturing Life and Events at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum is a photography series devoted to documenting moments big and small that unfold at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
The View: NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg visits the 9/11 Memorial Museum on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015. He was joined by U.S. Ambassador to NATO Douglas Lute and Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Richard Stengel. Before visiting the museum, the group placed a wreath at the Survivor Tree on the memorial. Their visit marks the beginning of a joint project between the U.S. Department of State, the 9/11 Memorial, and NATO to display a piece of steel recovered from the original World Trade Center in the new NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, which is scheduled to open next year.
