The New York-born Mr. Rosenwald is a graduate of Deerfield Academy, Dartmouth College, and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth. He joined The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. in 1954. In 1962 he was elected a General Partner and shortly thereafter was elected to the Bear Stearns Executive Committee. When Bear Stearns went public in 1985, Mr. Rosenwald was elected a Member of the Office of the President.

He was elected Vice Chairman of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. in 1988, and Vice Chairman Emeritus of J.P. Morgan in 2008.

Mr. Rosenwald serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the following nonprofit organizations:

Mr. Rosenwald resides in New York City, Rye, N.Y., and Palm Beach, Fla., with his wife, Patricia. They have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
