For this book, under the design direction of Jurek Wajdowicz, 5 brilliant photographers -- Carolina Salguero, Antonin Kratochvil, Alex Webb, Larry Towell and Gilles Peress, have captured single moments in time between September 11 and October 21, 2001 from ground zero. Their work spotlighted how the impact of the WTC attacks have felled those least able to absorb the shock: dishwashers, street vendors, sales clerks and seamstresses, cooks and cabdrivers.
