Artist Statement/Bio: Nuria Rabanillo-de la Fuente 1966
Born in Zamora, Spain.She found this vocation very early in her life. She studied art at school in both Madrid and Milan.

I am a young designer from Belgium. The catastrophe of September 11 made ​​me much trouble, that is why I am very attached to join the community. Draw in response to this tragedy is my way of giving homage to the victims.

I am drawn to Mexican and Guatemalan cultural objects—masks, carved wooden animals, papier mâché figures, and toys—for reasons similar to those of Man Ray and the modernists, who in their case were drawn to African art.

On Sunday, October 11th my non profit organization Laura's Angels sponsored a display called "The Field of Angels" in Pike County, Pennsylvania.

This bronze sculpture was the first piece that I created in the months following September 11, 2001.

My collection of art was originally produced in response to the September 11th attacks on New York City and the United States.

Artist’s Statement

French sculptor Jean-Sébastien RAUD have created a sculpture symbolising the twin towers of New York and this , in tribute to the victims of the WTC.

This article was published with my picture "Remembering" in the Memorial Edition of the Risk Magazine, September 2002. It was chosen from 400 Artists submitting work for this special edition of the Magazine.

My mother, Mary Regensburg Feist, a lifelong New Yorker already deep in her 80s at the time, was profoundly affected by the calamitous events of 9/11. As an artist, she expressed her feelings in paint--resulting in five powerful works of art.

Although I live in California now I'm a NY born and bred (Manhattan) fine artist. I lived in Tribeca for 14 plus years since graduating college and graduate school.

As the tragic events unfolded September 11, 2001, the world looked on as the media kept us updated as we watched in horror.
