9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk, Presented by RXR

Making A Difference, One Step at a Time

Each April, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K gathers thousands of runners and walkers in a shared act of remembrance, community, and inspiration. Participants on the three-mile race route follow a similar path to that which first responders and rescue and recovery workers took on their way to Ground Zero on 9/11 and in the days, weeks, and months afterward. This race remembers those killed on 9/11 and honors the service of those who bravely stepped in to help our city recover and rebuild.

Fun activities for all ages are available to all 5K participants at the Start and Finish Lines. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is a 501(c)(3) charity organization. All funds raised by this event ensure that the 9/11 Memorial remains free for all who wish to visit and ensure that our mission of commemoration, education, and inspiration reaches a new generation.
