An adult leans down to talk to two children as they view an artifact. "NY First Sundays" overlays the artifact. Support for this program was provided by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York.

A Special Opportunity for New Yorkers

We are thrilled to offer free admission to those who live, work, and study in New York on the first Sunday of each month from 4-7 p.m. (ID required). We invite you to come reconnect with the feeling of community and cohesion that blanketed our city and nation in the wake of 9/11.

The New York First Sunday experience now includes a special screening of a new short film about the recovery and relief work of the city's Department of Design and Construction following 9/11. It runs approximately every 15 minutes in the South Tower Screening Room.

New York First Sunday ticketholders will be admitted beginning at 4 p.m. Reminder: please be prepared to show a valid ID upon Museum entry for free admission. Join us to continue our shared promise to "Never Forget."
