A Special Opportunity for New Yorkers
We are thrilled to offer free admission to those who live, work, and study in New York on the first Sunday of each month from 4-7 p.m. (ID required). We invite you to come reconnect with the feeling of community and cohesion that blanketed our city and nation in the wake of 9/11.
A short film about the recovery and relief work of the city's Department of Design and Construction following 9/11 runs approximately every 15 minutes in the South Tower Screening Room.
Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month, the February 1 New York First Sunday will offer screenings of the short film “This History is My History,” highlighting the stories of Black 9/11 victims, survivors, first responders, recovery workers, and community members. “This History is My History” will run in the auditorium approximately every 20 minutes.
A Black History-themed tour will also be offered on February 1, featuring artifacts, narratives, and works of art about the courage and heroism of Black victims, first responders, and civilians who escaped the towers’ collapse.
New York First Sunday ticketholders will be admitted beginning at 4 p.m. Reminder: please be prepared to show a valid ID upon Museum entry for free admission. Join us to continue our shared promise to "Never Forget."
