THE DAY WE CRIED
In New York City, sunny day, not knowing evil lurked
The World Trade Center bustled with humanity at work
When suddenly the planes crashed in
Our world turned upside down
America, the beautiful
The dead lay all around
We'll wave our flags united
Fight this war and not dismay
For mighty is America

Faye Ann attended John Herron Art Institute (today Herron School of Art and Design) in Indianapolis where she studied under many well know artist/teachers.
