Indian River Shores FL United States
ARTIST STATEMENT
Taken in the fall of 1982, from two locations along the Hudson River and New Jersey shoreline, these photographs taken with a 4x5 view type film camera which depict the physical scale and visual impact of the twin World Trade Center towers on the New York City skyline. The daylight photo was taken in the late afternoon from a Jersey City pier just prior to sunset, as evidenced by the setting sun reflecting off the face of the building's finely articulated aluminum clad skin. The post sunset photo with reflections of the building lights in the calm waters of the Hudson River, was taken from a vantage point along the shoreline from the Liberty State Park.
