Statement of Work
This video was filmed and produced by me when the actual events happened and during the aftermath of 9/11/2001.
Though initially intended to serve my own memories and those of friends and family, I decided to make this video available to a larger audience on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the disaster in order to keep the memory alive and to pay homage to those who lost their life as a consequence of it.

I moved from the Netherlands to New York in the 1970's and am still living in downtown Manhattan. As a Dutchman the history of my ancestors being the first settlers from Europe on the island of Manhattan has always intrigued me and I feel proud to be an inhabitant of this great city.
The fact that the 9/11 disaster actually happened in the part of Manhattan where my forefathern set foot ashore inspired me even more to create this video as a tribute to the victims of this horrible event.
