The collage was my immediate response to the horrific event, inspired while watching the televised memorial service at the National Cathedral. I saved several newspaper clippings, knowing I would use them but not sure how. The idea came very quickly and spontaneously.
The World Trade Towers are made up of stock market quotes and columns of names from the first listing of victims in the newspaper. Victims' names scatter in the breeze and collect at the bottom of the towers.
