My name is Scott Norris. I am a Captain with the Saanich Fire Department in Victoria British Columbia.

In September, 2001, I had just finished recording a song titled "Laying it on the Line". I wrote this song for the men I work with to say thank-you and recognize the work we do as firefighters. I had no idea that a higher power was behind this song. I now know it was no coincidence.
