The terroristic attack on the World Trade Centre has touched me deeply and I wanted to express my emotions about this horrible act. I decided to paint an impression in which all names of the victims should be integrated. By composing this painting I became aware of the true scale of this attack. Bringing together almost 3000 names on 1,2 m2, partly in this composition was a hell of a job. During this creative process I got time for reflection about all misery and pain and there were many moments for meditation to cope with this disaster.
