My general goal as an artist is to challenge the viewer with the unexpected, while also celebrating the beauty of this life. I believe that humans are created in God’s image to also create, and I am fulfilled when participating in the process of creation. Additionally, I believe that the creative process continues even after the art has left my possession because the viewer’s reaction and input adds meaning to the artwork.
