My name is Marie “ Beth” Franco. I am a poet, a songwriter and a New Yorker. I was working in midtown on 9/11/01. I still remember every minute of that fateful day. The black smoke against the crisp blue September sky... 
I wrote a poem years later. I wrote it for the survivors and the loved ones left behind. I wrote it for all the first responders and my fellow New Yorkers as well. I hope we can all find some comfort in it. #neverforget
