Artist's Statement

Graziano Villa is an Italian artist and photographer known for his unique approach to photography, which combines elements of reportage, fashion, still life, and portraiture. His work “Portraits of Architecture” is an extraordinary example of his talent for capturing both the graphic essence and the soul of architectural forms. Graziano has exhibited his works in various shows, including one dedicated to the grandeur of Paris, where he explored the city’s beauty and spirit of freedom through his artistic lens.
Graziano Villa describes photography as an art that cannot be confined to a single category, favoring instead a blend of styles that reflects his existential and professional vision. His career began in the advertising world, collaborating with major agencies and magazines, before evolving into a more personal artistic exploration.

NEVER FORGET!
The artwork recalls the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001. The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center rise against a blood-red sky — a symbol of tragedy and the lives lost on that day. The ascending geometric lines evoke both the striving toward the sky and the fragility of human certainty. The dominant, dramatic red becomes a visual memory of an event that changed the world.
A call to remember — to never forget.
