                                       “Heroes of 9-11”

My work reflects 9-11 and features my hero, Chief Terence J. Smith, he arrived before the second tower came down, responding on September 11, 2001. He searched for his fallen peers for the following three months. After more than twenty years, the experience still haunts his mind. My paintings are an effort to provide a small reminder of his heroism, offering our heroes a different perspective on a horrible memory.
