Statement of Work
My writing is raw, bouncy, and bold. I write about personal memories, current experiences, and culturally significant themes. If you stay a while, you’ll notice my love of wordplay and echoes of people, phrases, and influences from my life in every piece. I hope my writing leaves people feeling more connected—to themselves and to one another.

Bebe Tafuri is a native New Yorker and emerging writer whose 9/11 poem, Native New Yorkers, gently highlights how inherent New York fare and unexpected moments allow us to never forget. Through her writing project, Pardon the Writing, she shares poetry and reflections drawn from lived experience. Her work is conversational, candid, and grounded in the belief that our stories keep people, places, and moments alive.
