New Pair Of Wings In Heaven ( A 9/11 Tribute) by Singer/Songwriter EDDIE LEE GROVES, is a tribute to first responders who lost their lives when the Twin Towers were destroyed during the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001.

On a cold winters night in late February, 2001, I saw a late night commercial aired by our government. No one I knew had seen them, but in a nutshell they asked if we knew of any person responsible for terrorist acts and they wanted information.

My work as an architect has informed my ongoing work as an artist. Architecture, as a significant art form intensive in its use of resources, demands a rigor and discipline of collective effort to be properly planned and implemented.

The tragic events of 911 inspired me and my wife Linda to submit a design for the WTC Memorial Competition. Our design included pavilions where artist would pay tribute to the victims, bring some solace to their families, and help a nation heal.

I'm from Spain, but last April I stayed in New York for the first time in my life and, because of my visit to 11S Memorial, I could make this video as a personal tribute with the pictures I shot there.

On September 11, 2001 Linda Lee was a fifty-two year old Florida resident, mother of three and grandmother of eight. She had no formal art training or other experience in the field, and she had no psychic abilities of which she was aware.
