Like everyone else I was traumatized by the events as they happened on September 11th 2001.
I was glued to the images on TV and reading everything I could in the newspapers. I could not comprehend this happening here in the United States.
I live in the shadow of the World Trade Towers. Before they fell, there was only air between us. I often wondered whether they would land on my high-rise if they fell in my direction. They did.
I was at the Fire Station on Sept 11, 2001. I was saddened by what had happened. I will never forget my brothers that died that day nor will I forget the people who lost their lives.
