Future of Memory is a multi-media dance performance created by Troika Ranch Artistic Directors Mark Coniglio and Dawn Stoppiello, in collaboration with dancers Danielle Goldman, Michou Szabo and Sandy Tillett.

For this book, under the design direction of Jurek Wajdowicz, 5 brilliant photographers -- Carolina Salguero, Antonin Kratochvil, Alex Webb, Larry Towell and Gilles Peress, have captured single moments in time between September 11 and October 21, 2001

Although we did not know anyone that perished on that horrific day, like many of us, we knew people who did!

I wish to create photo journalistic work that both documents the events around us and to add my artistic values of hope to all who see my work and who imagine a better world is possible.

I am a New Yorker who witnessed the attacks of September 11, 2001, and Fallen Heroes is the music that came out of that day. I am not a professional composer; this piece came not from training but from what I saw and felt.

911 Day Of Goodbyes I was living in New Jersey on 911 and fortunately didn't lose anybody to the events of that day. I am a musician and as an american I was profoundly affected by the innocence lost that day.

I painted the attached painting two days sfter 9/11 and it has been sitting in my studio since that time.

My artwork enables me to generate visible evidence of my connection with life and other human beings. The ideas that most galvanize my creativity always in some way encourage relationship, whether to family, friends, or a higher power.

I wrote this song, "Where Were You" last year as I was watching a 9/11 documentary.

I was 6- or 7-years-old and in Ghana when the 9/11 attacks happened; I do not have a single recollection of hearing or seeing coverage of it until I came to the U.S. at age 12.
