From executive producers Dan Futterman, Alex Gibney and Legendary Television, Hulu's “The Looming Tower” adapts Lawrence Wright’s Pulitzer Prize–winning book that traces the rising threat of al-Qaeda in the late 1990s and exposes clashes between the FBI and CIA that may have undermined coordination to prevent the 9/11 attacks.
Tonight at the 9/11 Memorial Museum, author Lawrence Wright, former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Ali Soufan and “The Looming Tower” cast member Wrenn Schmidt will discuss the limited-run series, the rise of al-Qaeda and the 9/11 attacks.
Alice M. Greenwald, president and CEO of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, will introduce the program, and an audience Q&A will follow. This program, which is at capacity, will be livestreamed at www.911memorial.org/live.
