Educator Professional Development Workshop

Join us for Foundations of Teaching 9/11: New Stories, New Perspectives, a FREE full-day professional development workshop at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. The program focuses on leveraging inquiry-based learning and storytelling as ways to explore what happened on 9/11 and how different groups of people were impacted, while making connections to the present. Special attention will be paid to highlighting less well-known stories and underrepresented voices. We will also preview extensive online resources including new lesson plans, and help participants make cross-curricular connections.

All participants receive free curricular materials at the completion of the program. This workshop is appropriate for middle and high school educators, and we are an approved CTLE provider. Registration is now open!
