Director, Salesforce Operations

SALARY: $110 - $120K per year

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Salesforce professional to lead our platform as the Head of Salesforce Operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with demonstrated expertise in Salesforce implementation, project management, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities and how they align with organizational goals, along with the ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders across departments.

Note: A minimum of 5-6 years of Salesforce experience is required for this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and own the high-level Salesforce strategy for the organization, aligning it with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Salesforce projects to enhance operational efficiency, engagement, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, providing guidance on Salesforce solutions.
  • Research and recommend products and services to optimize business processes and the Salesforce platform.
  • Serve as the lead subject matter expert in driving industry best practices.
  • Regularly assess user feedback, monitor system usage, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features, upgrades, and industry trends to ensure the organization leverages the full potential of the platform.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and ability to work outside the box to find the right solution for any given issue.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and best practices platform evolution through strategic project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

  • Position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in business or IT, or equivalent work experience.
    • Note: While a bachelor’s degree is preferred, we enthusiastically encourage applications from Veterans or veteran spouses with various educational backgrounds. This includes those with an associate degree as well as individuals actively working towards a bachelor’s degree.   • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation and administration, with a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification and experience with NPSP required, with additional relevant certifications included Nonprofit Consultant preferred.
  • Strong application and data management skills with a demonstrated ability to influence change and facilitate performance enhancements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and cultivate relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated drive for results and accountability for business needs.

REQUIRED SUPPORT FOR ORGANIZATIONAL EVENTS

  • Participates in the annual 5K fundraiser and September 11th commemoration, as assigned.
  • Assists with other special projects and events in support of 9/11 Memorial and Museum, as assigned.
