Tuesday, July 3, marks the first installment of Stories & Art, a new program for young visitors to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
Every Tuesday at 11 a.m., families visiting the Memorial with children are welcome to attend a free reading of an age-appropriate book on the Memorial Glade. The readings will be given by a member of the Museum’s education staff, and the book chosen will include 9/11-connected themes. Participants can choose to complete a related art activity before or after the program, or they can simply attend the reading.
Stories & Art will be offered every Tuesday from July through the end of August, as well as select dates in September, weather permitting.
