The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will offer discounted admission and host a series of special programs in conjunction with Fleet Week.

The 9/11 Memorial Museum is free of charge for active and retired members of the U.S. Military. For Fleet Week New York 2019, the Museum will open its doors prior to its regular operating hours for U.S. service members in uniform from Friday, May 24, to Sunday, May 26, from 8–9 a.m. Due to capacity limitations, tickets will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Visitors to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum can observe the following events in commemoration of Fleet Week.

Fleet Week WTC Freedom Run
Thursday, May 23, 9:30–10 a.m.

Between 100 and 200 marines, coast guardsmen, and first responders will run a loop of lower Manhattan calling cadence and carrying American and Marine Corps flags. They will be escorted on to the plaza where there will be a moment of silence at the South Pool following brief remarks.

Reenlistment Ceremony
Friday, May 24, 2–2:30 p.m.

Between 35 and 40 servicemembers will participate in a reenlistment ceremony on the Memorial plaza.
