The Angel of Remembrance New York hand-painted statue, sponsored by Volunteers of America of Los Angeles, was given on behalf of the people of Los Angeles to the many living "angels" involved in the recovery efforts after the September 11th attacks. Janine Anderson was one of the principal artists.
