9/11 Memorial Glade
The Glade honors those who are sick or have died from exposure to toxins in the aftermath of 9/11.
The iconic Tribute in Light installation first soared above the city skyline to mark the six-month anniversary of September 11, 2001.
Every year since 2002, Tribute in Light has illuminated the night sky on September 11, becoming a symbol of remembrance and resilience.
This meaningful installation is presented by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and is also supported by the generosity of small businesses in lower Manhattan—including our neighboring hotels, retailers, and restaurants—that have come together in support of this iconic tribute.
We encourage you to visit our Tribute in Light supporters, listed below.
Manhatta is a restaurant from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, combining sky-high views with down-to-earth hospitality.
