Tips for Visiting the 9/11 Memorial & Museum During the Holidays
… and learn. The Museum will be open Tuesdays and on December 26 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. (last entry 5:30 p.m.). Please note that the Museum itself is closed on Christmas Day. The Memorial will remain open on Christmas, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., as always. Tickets are not required for the Memorial, and we encourage you to use the 9/11 Memorial Museum Name Finder tool to pay tribute at a victim’s name. Visitors are invited to purchase Museum tickets online in advance to avoid the general admission box office line. You may also purchase an expert-led tour . As this is our busiest time of year, we ask that you keep the following in mind to ensure a smooth and meaningful experience. Wait times may be longer than usual. Please dress warmly as there may be a wait to enter the Museum. We strongly recommend advance ticket purchase online; on-site ticket availability is extremely limited . All visitors receive timed entry tickets and will not be admitted before the time printed on their ticket(s).
